Jackie thought for three seconds. Then it came to him. He stuck his hand into the water. "Take my hand!" He yelled to the things. Suddenly three arms shot up, and grabbed his arm. Two seconds later, their faces became clear, they were smirking in triumph. If that was possible, with what flesh they had left.
"Thank you.", their raspy voices said. When they got about waist length of the way out, they pulled Jackie into the water more. "W-What?" he stammered. They pulled themselves onto the rock, and shoved Jackie into the waves. They waved as he was pulled down by an invisible force down into the depth. He was running out of air. He then saw a hand shoot into the water.
